The Search for Amelia Earhart Continues

In July, 2012 Tighar (The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery) had launched a 2 million dollar search near Gardner Island in the Pacific. They hoped to find the remains of Earhart and her navigator, Fred Noonan, as well as their aircraft that was lost on July 3, 1937. After numerous searches their fate is still a mystery after 75 years. This expedition, filmed by the Discovery Channel, aired in August 2012. We wished them success, but felt that they were looking in the wrong place. Please consider reading our book, Amelia Earhart Betrayed to find out what really happened to the ill-fated pair.

The whole world was watching and waiting, but nothing conclusive was found. Many artifacts have been unearthed in years past, producing clues about their disappearance. “Does this beauty kit prove Amelia Earhart crashed on the desert island? Make-up and lotions found at ‘crash site’ weeks after discovery of anti-freckle cream” We feel Amelia and Fred were there, but were taken off the island. TIGHAR thinks that they died there. What do you think?
